Wedding Cake Topper

This is a wedding cake topper that I made from aluminum sheet metal and riveted together for our wedding.  Inspired by Jeanne Pierre Augier's sculptures.

Upcycled Kids Wooden Toy Car

Upcycled old roller skate wheels and scrap 2x4 were used to make this kids wooden toy car. I also made a custom aluminum ID plate for the bottom.

Automotive Motorsport Furniture

Here's a new lamp design that let's me enjoy a great racing livery while I'm still in my office. I started out by radius bending the outer shell and then making the inner punch-flared piece. Everything gets mocked up with clecos ahead of time and then is taken apart and painted. Self etching primer is used, then some build primer. After sanding, the white automotive basecoat is applied and followed up by automotive clear coat.
Finished Martini Racing Livery lamp.
The actual Martini livery stripes are just shaker can enamel (a combination of Duplicolor and Rustoleum colors). Each stripe is masked by hand with 3M fine line tape. After the paint dries the riveting begins. Aircraft universal head rivets are set with a squeezer to avoid marring the paint.

RECOIL Magazine's Ballistic Bronco

I put together the rendering for this nutty build which mounts a Dillon Aero Minigun to the roof of a '79 Bronco. Nuts. Just nuts.
Recoil 79 Bronco project rendering
The guys at TEN had me put together the rendering that kicked off the project. Progress of the build was captured by the Dirt Every Day team led by host Fred Williams. Check out the Motor Trend Channel on Youtube to see the show.
